COMSTOCK — The Nebraska State Patrol is no longer looking for an inidividual seen walking on the property of a Valley County Sheriff’s Deputy this week.
The investigator couldn’t indicate why the search was called off.
On Sunday, the son of Valley County Sheriff’s Deputy Ken White fired two shots on their property near Comstock. It was initially reported that the shots were fired to scare a man seen walking on the property.
The 16-year-old was home alone at the time and no injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
