LINCOLN — A report from the Nebraska Labor Department shows the state’s unemployment rate stood still at 3% in January.
It the same number in December and just ahead of the 2.9% from January 2015. Nebraska’s unemployment numbers are still well below the national average. That stands at 4.9%.
The state has the fourth lowest number in the nation behind New Hampshire and both Dakotas.
