COLUMBUS — A rescue attempt was successful at a closed water park in Columbus where a man and child were trapped in a slide.
Media reports say the child crawled under the fence at Pawnee Plunge Water Park and the man climbed over in pursuit. The child went up the stairs of a slide, but the man followed and manged to grab him before he hit an empty pool.
The two were found by police and firefighters. Their names have not been released.
