ARCHER — Delays can be expected this summer on Highway 92 in Merrick County.
The Nebraska Roads Department will begin work on a 14-mile stretch of road near Archer. The project includes bridge replacement and repair, shoulder repairs and asphalt overlay on the pavement.
Motorists will be detoured north to Nebraska Highway 22 because Highway 92 will be closed to through traffic from Highway 81 in St. Paul east to Nebraska Highway 14.
The work is scheduled to be completed in the fall.
