LINCOLN — A measure has been given second-round approval that would allow Nebraska to charge higher fees for hunting and fishing permits.
The bill gives the Game and Parks Commission permission to raise hunting permits from $13 to $18 and fishing permits from $17.50 to $24.
A proposed amendment to the bill that would end Nebraska’s mountain lion hunting season was rejected.
