LINCOLN — Connie Yori is out as Nebraska women’s basketball coach after 14 seasons.
She announced the decision in a statement saying it comes after a “difficult time in my life”.
She went 280-166 in Lincoln, but had a tumultuous 2015-16. The Huskers went 18-13 and were ousted by Northern Iowa in the first round of the WNIT.
Nebraska Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst thanked Yori for her service and says he will begin searching for a replacement immediately.
