TAYLOR — Two sandhills authors came by the library in Taylor this weekend for a book signing.
J.A. Griffen is from Alliance and the author of “Jesse Griffen, Coming to Zion”, while B.J. Akin is from Brewster and specializes in historical western romance.
Cheryl Robyler is the director of the Taylor Library and hopes to continue to highlight local authors. “It certainly is something I’d entertain to keep going,” she says. “It’s a boost for Taylor and the library.”
Both authors write about the sandhills scenery in an effort to highlight the history of the environment of the state.
