LINCOLN — Nebraska men’s basketball assistant Phil Beckner has left the program to take a similar job at Boise State.
This was his first year with the program after working in the NBA Development League before that. Head Coach Tim Miles says the move west puts Beckner with coaches he knows well.
In addition, the Huskers announced the transfer of Bakari Evelyn. He scored 24 total points in 18 games this season.
