ORD — In-home sleep studies are now part of the offerings at Valley County Health System.
This moves away from traditional sleep studies, which requires a patient to say at the hospital overnight.
This new option allows patients to take the equipment home. It includes a palm-sized device that wraps around a patient’s chest while he or she sleeps.
Overall, this process could offer savings of around 80%, while still helping to diagnose disorders like sleep apnea.
