ORD — Valley County Health System plans to welcome a new nurse practitioner in May.
Johanna Spencer will join the hospital on May 2nd and primarily provide care for walk-in and emergency department patients.
The Burwell grad most recently worked at Greater Sandhills Family Care in Bassett. She has eight years of nursing experience, including some time working for VCHS.
Spencer fills the spot left by Kelly Geweke, who announced she’s leaving the hospital in March.
