WILCOX — Cornerstone Bank is set to open a branch in Wilcox.
The company will purchase the Iowa-Nebraska State Bank in the area. The branch has $18 million in assets, deposits of $19 million and loans of $10 million.
The purchase is subject to shareholder and regulatory approval with the closing date before the end of the third quarter of the fiscal year.
The York-based bank brings it’s total number of branches in the state up to 38.
