NORFOLK — The Lower Elkhorn NRD is facing push back on a study to look into the addition of reservoirs in the area.
Dozens of people came to a meeting this week to ask the board not to act on a study of potential sites. Some of these were farmers who worry about the protection of their property.
District officials hope the addition of reservoir sites could provide flood control and recreation. 10 sites were listed as a possibility.
The board took no action at the meeting.
