HOLDREGE — When and how much?
Those are the questions hitting the Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District in Holdrege this week as officials prepare for water coming toward the Platte River.
Deeper-than-average snowpacks in the Rocky Mountains and Wyoming, along with full reservoirs in other parts of the region are having a literal trickle-down effect toward the river.
Currently, the amount of water and when it will arrive remains unclear.
