EAST LANSING, MI — Nebraska earns a weekend series win with a 7-4 victory over #24 Michigan State in the rubber match of their three-game set.
The Huskers took control of the game in the fifth with a three-run inning to take a 6-1 lead. Michigan State scored three times over the final two frames, but did not get closer.
It’s Nebraska’s first series victory against a ranked team this season.
