The Tri-City Storm is one win away from capturing its first Clark Cup and readies for a pair of home games leading the Dubuque Fighting Saints, 2-0, in the best-of-five Clark Cup Final.Over the weekend, Dan Labosky recorded six points to become the Storms all-time postseason assists and points leader (13 assists, 20 points). Labosky had one of two explosive offensive performances that keyed the Storm to a weekend sweep in Dubuque. In Game 1 on Friday, Tri-City scored a season-high five goals in the third period and won, 5-1, led by Wade Allisons four-point effort. On Saturday in Game 2, a 4-2 win, Dan Labosky had a playoff-best four points. Prior to this weekend, the Storm only had one four-point game in its playoff history Bill Thomas on March 31, 2004 against Des Moines. Allison has seven points (4g, 3a) in two Clark Cup Final games. Labosky leads the league with 16 points (5g, 11a) in the postseason. Allison leads all players with eight postseason goals and is second in the league with 14 points. The Storm looks to capture the Clark Cup in Game 3 on Friday, May 20 at 7:05 p.m. at the Viaero Center. If necessary, Game 4 is Saturday, May 21 at 7:05 p.m. Both games feature $5 kids tickets and $6 student tickets. The Storm will announce more specials throughout the week.
