OCONTO — The Pressey Wildlife Management Area in Oconto is hosting a fire pump and engine design workshop on Tuesday, May 24th.
The event runs from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. with a $10 registration. Discussions include design and performance from pumps to tank capacity to hoses and nozzles: all aimed at assisting in prescribed fires.
Those who have already built a fire pump are encouraged to bring it and share the experience.
