NELIGH — The future of a porposed wind farm in Antelope County remains in doubt.
A public hearing this week hosted around 300 people to hear about the suggested 160 turbines.
After a seven-hour meeting, the Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to delay a decision on a conditional-use permit until its next meeting on June 7th.
22 people spoke for the wind farm, which would be near Neligh. The company Invenergy says it would create jobs, tax revenue and clean energy.
The same number of people spoke against it. They worry about noise and setback distances on properties.
