LOUP CITY — Even with resistance from a rainy day, the Loup City PTO’s First Annual Fun Run was a success this weekend.
The group formed earlier this year and hopes events such as this one will help bring the school and families together.
Whitney Kaminski helped organize the day and hopes this opens the door for more activities in the future. “This was our first fun run for the PTO,” she says. “Kind of just a teaser to let people know this is what we want to try do so we have high hopes for it to grow in the years to come.”
Besides the 5K and one-mile walk/run, water balloons and an egg toss wrapped up the day.
