LINCOLN — A report shows good signs for Nebraska’s region of the country.
The Mid-American Business Conditions Index hit 52.1 in May. That’s up from 50.1 in April and 50.6 in March.
A score above 50 shows growth, while below suggests decline.
Surveyors at Creighton University says the positive sign is due to an increase in the region’s manufacturing sector. The data covers the bankers across nine states.
