The 5th annual Ag Appreciation Evening will be held in Burwell, Friday evening June 17th on the square in downtown Burwell. This years event will feature two parts.
Part One will feature a free will hamburger feed from 5:30-8pm with the proceeds going to the Burwell Chamber’s Ag Scholarship for area high school graduates going on to an ag related field in college. Also western trick roper Joan Wells will perform brought to you by the Nebraska Humanities Council. KNLV’S own jj johnnie james will playing great music as well in front of KNLV mobile unit.
Part Two will feature a Street dance on the west side of Burwell’s downtown square featuring a beer garden and the band Bases Loaded from 8p-1a, with a $5 cover charge.
