The Ord City Council met last night. Among the items on the agenda, “Y’All Come Back Saloon” requested and received permission to remain open until 2:00 am on Friday, March 17 and Saturday, March 18.
Also, Amy Lee asked for a “30-Minute Parking” sign to be placed near the entrance to her barbershop at 124 N. 16th Street. Lee’s request was approved.
There was discussion about millings received from the Nebraska Department of Roads. Utility Superintendent, Paul Markowski, disclosed information of personal use of the millings, received directly from NDOR.
And Gary Brock expressed concerns about the conditions of some city roads, especially 10th Street.
The Ord City Council will meet again on Monday, April 3.
