In Valley County Court, Matthew Camez pleaded No Contest to disorderly conduct charges. He was fined $50 and ordered to pay court costs. In a separate case, Camez pleaded Guilty/No Contest to charges of domestic assault in the third degree. Camez was sentenced to two days in jail and was given credit for two days served. Camez has been in jail since February.
Edward Hanson was charged with weapons possession, possession of a controlled substance, and endangering a child, 15 counts in all. His co-defendent, Jessica Proskocil, was charged with 7 counts. A preliminary hearing is set for May 9.
Desiree Casey was arraigned on one count of intentional child abuse and one count of possession of marijuana. A preliminary hearing is set for May 9.
Steven Estell was sentenced to two days in jail on charges of third degree assault/mutual consent. Estell pleaded No Contest in this case.
Amy Hauf pleaded No Contest to writing a bad check to Speed’s Apple Market in Ord. Hauf was fined $50 and will pay court costs. Hauf has made restitution to Speed’s.
Terri Jorgensen pleaded No Contest to writing a series of bad checks. Jorgensen was fined $50 and must pay court costs. Restitution has been made in full to all parties involved.
Ronald Schmidt, Jr. waived his right to an attorney and pleaded Not Guilty to charges of presenting false information to a peace officer, having fictitious plates on a vehicle, and operating an unregistered vehicle. Trial is set for June 13.
Andrew Prieto was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $25,000.
Dustin Daniels pleaded Not Guilty to third degree assault charges. Pretrial will be May 23.
