The Ord Chamber of Commerce met yesterday afternoon at Calamity Jane’s Restaurant.
The Board talked about revamping the Shopord.com website, shifting it from an e-commerce site to a showcase for business products. Also, there was a conversation about the feasibility of the website.
Sidewalk Sales will be held on Friday, August 4 and Saturday, August 5 during the Valley County Fair. The Board is looking for new ways to advertise Sidewalk Sales.
Updates were provided on the Tour de Nebraska’s 2-day stay in Ord. It’s the Tour’s 30th anniversary and cyclists will arrive on Ord’s 136th birthday, June 23.
