The Wheeler County Courthouse will be closed on Friday, April 28 in observance of the state holiday, Arbor Day.
The first half of the 2016 real estate and personal property taxes become delinquent on May 1. Whereas the last day to pay without interest being charged falls on Sunday, April 30, payment will be accepted on Monday, May1 with no accrual of interest.
