The Greeley American Legion will again be holding a Memorial Day program at the Greeley Cemetery on Monday, May 29 at 10:00 am.
Jason T. Whalen, who recently retired as a Master Sargent, will be the main speaker. The Rev. Toni Nolze, pastor of several area Methodist churches, will give the opening and closing prayers.
Patti Butcher and friends will provide the musical entertainment.
The Charles E. Martin Honor Guard plans salutes at the Greeley, Swedish, and O’Connor cemeteries, the Veterans Wall, the Greeley Care Home, and outside the Legion Club (for veterans in cemeteries northwest of Greeley).
The American Legion Auxiliary will be serving hamburgers, sloppy joes, hot dogs, beans, chips, salad, and desserts, along with a drink at the Legion Club from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
All Legionnaires are asked to report to the Legion Club by 9:30 on Memorial Day morning.
