The Ord Area Chamber of Commerce and Valley County Tourism will welcome over 450 cyclists to Ord this summer during Tour de Nebraska’s 30th Anniversary Tour. Cyclists will arrive on Friday, June 23 for a two-night stay.
The cyclists will be camping in Bussell Park and at Ord High School, visiting local stores, dining at local eateries, and exploring all of the amenities the community has to offer.
Volunteers are needed for the Welcome Station in Bussell Park for any amount of time from 11 am to 8 pm on Friday, June 23. Volunteers will distribute welcome brochures and travel guides, as well as answer questions and direct cyclists to their desired destination in town.
