The Valley County Sheriff’s Office reports that 32-year-old Robert Gaffney, homeless, was booked into Valley County Jail for Valley County for failure to register as a sex offender and a habitual criminal. Also, 35-year-old Rusty Tompkins of Ord, Nebraska, was booked into Valley County Jail for Valley County for assault with a deadly weapon, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and strangulation.
Currently, there are seven inmates housed in Valley County Jail: five from Valley County, one from Sherman County, and one from Garfield County.
