Springdale Road and the new Anderson Island entrance road will be reopened the week of June 12. The entrance into Anderson Island will now come off the newly aligned Springdale Road.
NDOR Project Manager Jerry Woodgate says that on Monday, June 12, Haskell Creek Road will be reduced to one lane to allow for the tie in of the existing and newly aligned roadway. The traffic control for this tie in work will require YIELD situations for traffic on Haskell Creek Road. No stop lights will be installed due to the close proximity of this closure to Highway 70.
Please use caution in this area as the contractor is paving as fast as possible to minimize traffic disruptions. Once the tie in to existing Haskell Creek Road is complete, traffic will be moved on to the new alignment.
Woodgate adds again that caution is urged while these traffic switches occur on Haskell Creek Road. Traffic flow in the afternoon may not be the same as in the morning as the contractor works to minimize the length of time any traffic is disrupted.
