Last month, O’Neill native Bobbi LeAnn Walters was crowned Miss Nebraska Continents 2017 in Omaha. Walters will represent Nebraska as she continues to compete for Miss US Continents from June 27 through June 30 on the Las Vegas stage at South Point Resort & Casino.
The areas of competition are evening gown, swimsuit, and interview. The judges will search for the lady who holds a dynamic background and leads in community service and self-confidence.
As Miss Nebraska Continents 2017, Walters will share her motto, “Leave Your Legacy.” The inspiration behind the motto came from her time spent travelling with music ministry on different rodeo circuits.
During her reign as Miss Nebraska Continents, Walters’ hope is to inspire others, particularly youth, to seek opportunities, encouraging them to “Leave Your Legacy” through hard work, dedication, excellence, and a strong compassion for the needs of others.
Walters is a 2011 graduate of O’Neill High School and a 2014 graduate of Belmont University.
