July 19, 2017 (Ainsworth, Neb.) Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin August 7 on N-91, from the junction of N-91/N-70, extending 5.15 miles west.
Werner Construction, Inc., of Hastings, Nebraska has the $1,700,000 contract for this project, which
includes box culvert extension, milling and asphalt paving. The work is expected to be completed late
October. There will be a 12-foot width restriction and temporary lane closures, which will be maintained
by flaggers and a pilot car.
Motorists can expect delays and are advised to use caution while driving through construction zones.
