Daniel Schneider, MD, has been named the Valley County Health System (VCHS) chief of staff.
Schneider will act as the liaison and adviser between VCHS administration, hospital staff and medical staff, as well as oversee the medical staff, physician credentialing, education and quality assurance
VCHS has an eight-person medical staff, with four MDs and four advanced practitioners. Hillary Miller, MD, Greg McClanahan, MD, and Jennifer Bengston, MD, were voted vice president, secretary and past-president, respectively, of medical staff for the upcoming year. Jeff Breitkreutz, PA-C, Bob Reilly, PA-C, Kristy Dunbar, PA-C, and Johanna Spencer, APRN-NP, FNP-BC, are the four advanced practitioners on the VCHS medical staff.
Going on his eighth year with VCHS, Schneider provides primary care services to patients at the VCHS Medical Clinic and Burwell locations, as well as to hospital inpatients and emergency room patients as needed.
