Valley County Health Systems (VCHS) has announced their Employee of the Year for the 2016-2017 fiscal year as Kate Morse, RN. Morse, who lead the VCHS Infection Control/Employee Education Department, received the recognition because of her commitment to exemplifying the VCHS values of integrity, compassion, ownership, respect and trust and for going above and beyond in her work.
VCHS Nancy Glaubke presented the award to Morse at a ceremony at VCHS with coworkers, family and friends in attendance. Morse was one of four VCHS Employee of the Quarter recipients during the last year, from which the VCHS Employee of the Year was voted on by VCHS employees and, ultimately, chosen.
