Sometime between 4:00 and 4:30 pm yesterday, Oct. 24, two south bound semis collided on Highway 14 and P Road North of Central City.
Officers responded to the accident where the semi hauling cattle had turned over in the ditch.
Details on drivers and passengers is not known at this time but no injuries have been reported on the drivers. The outcome of the cattle in the trailer is not known at this time as well.
The Merrick County Sheriff’s Department, Central City Ambulance, Central City Fire Department, Lone Tree Towing and Christensen Cattle Company responded to the scene.
