Three miles north of Comstock, Nebraska on the 2nd Wind Ranch, on June 15-16-17 the Comstock Winmill Festival will headline Luke Combs with Ned LeDoux, Lee Brice, Cody Johnson opening for Diamond Rio, and Trick Pony.
Luke Combs, with two chart-topping hits, ‘Hurricane’ and ‘When it Rains it Pours,’ will headline for Friday opening the festival. Luke is a nominee for the 2017 New Artist of the Year at the upcoming CMA awards.
Ned LeDoux will be joining Combs. LeDoux continues to carry on the tradition of his father, Chris LeDoux. He will play some of his own music while also playing his father’s songs. LeDoux will be introducing a new album this next month.
Saturday night will feature Lee Brice, coming right off his hit ‘The Boy.’ Brice is also known for his hits ‘I Don’t Dance’ and ‘I Drive Your Truck,’ which won him Single of the Year Awards at both the Country Music Awards and the American Music Awards.
Third time returner,Diamond Rio will be closing out the festival Saturday night. They are known for their songs, ‘Live a Little Stronger,’ ‘Unbelievable’ and ‘One More Day.’
Opening for Diamond Rio will be Cody Johnson. Cody Johnson’s national recognition from ‘Who I Am,’ will be a great addition to the festival as he is a representation of America’s young country singers.
On Sunday a regular at the Comstock Festival will be Trick Pony. They haven’t played at Comstock since they split up in 2006. They will be playing for the first time at Comstock since they reunited and has called the Comstock Festival one of their favorite places to play.
More bands will be announced soon. Comstock offers camping, both electrical and primitive, along with food vendors, beer tents and other vendors.
