A sentencing is planned for 26-year-old Jocelyn Nordin of North Loup who is now convicted of killing her daughter in May of last year.
Nordin took a deal with prosecutors earlier this month and pleaded no contest to felony child abuse.
Authorities say Nordin dropped her 4-week-old daughter on her head twice and shook her violently.
Her daughter suffered a broken skull, bleeding in the brain and damage to her eyes.
Nordin will be sentenced in Valley County District Court on December 19.
