Ord, Neb. – Valley County Health Systems (VCHS) will conduct a community-wide disaster drill from 6-10 p.m. on Nov. 14.
This drill will exercise the community’s ability to manage multiple safety and health incidents happening at the same time in different locations, rescue squads’ ability to transport patients to VCHS and the hospital’s capability to care for those patients.
VCHS, Green Plains Inc., Valley County Emergency Manager, Region 26, Loup Basin Public Health Department, Valley View Senior Village, Valley County Sheriff Department, Ord Police Department, and volunteer fire departments form Ord, North Loup/Scotia, Arcadia and Burwell will all be involved in the drill.
