During Valley County District Court on Tuesday Feb. 20, 2018:
Kathryn C. Lautenschlager, appeared in court for motion to revoke her probation due to a probation violation. She was booked into Valley County Jail by Garfield County on Feb. 6, 2018. Further trial will take place on March 20, at 11:15 am. Her bond is set at $10,000; 10%
Darrell Roberts of Ord is found guilty of possession of controlled substance, a class 4 felony. He requested an attempt to qualify for probation. His case was continued to April 17, 2018 at 10 am for a dug and alcohol eval
Valley County Resident Christine A Simon has a protection order in effect against Allison Klanecky, of Ord, for harassment. Klanecky, did not appear in court but requested a motion to continue the hearing to a later date, Judge Noakes overruled the motion. Simons attorney expressed how Klanecky terrified her, stalked her, and would find her in public. Klanecky was previously held in federal prison for possession of explosives. This protection order was first filed in Aug of 2017 and remains in effect.
Derrick Gonzales of Ord appeared in Valley County District Court on Tuesday on charges of contempt. In previous court dates the State showed evidence of Gonzales being employed and receiving income and failing to pay a monthly child support amount of $705.
During his Jan. 16, 2018 court date, it was stated by the court Gonzales has not made payments in over a year and owes nearly $54,000 in child support.
On Tuesday, Gonzales filed a complaint with the Valley County District Court, but revoked it at the time of his case being called. Gonzales’ argue he has presented to the court remains that he was not presented a “bill” from DHHS and the court for him to relieve child support dept.
Judge Noakes recused, or disqualified herself from the case saying the case would be finished at a later date.
