During the evening hours of Saturday, March 17, investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) conducted alcohol inspections in Custer County.
A total of 18 businesses were inspected. Three sold alcohol to a minor for a non-compliance rate of 17%. Only one of the businesses failed to check the minor’s ID. The businesses included liquor stores, bars, grocery stores, convenience stores, and restaurants.
The business which sold alcohol to a minor were:
- The Grocery Cart – Broken Bow (Checked ID)
- Schmick’s Market – Broken Bow (Did not check ID)
- Callaway Market – Broken Bow (Checked ID
Businesses that fail the inspections are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission and the clerks are cited for Procuring Alcohol for a Minior.
