The Nebraska football team practiced for a little over two hours on Saturday inside the Hawks Championship Center, working out in full pads. As part of Saturday’s activities, the Husker football program welcomed more than 100 former players to watch Saturday’s practice.
“They’re doing a good job,” Offensive Coordinator Troy Walters said. Walter says, “Defense is throwing a lot at us. The combination of both sometimes doesn’t look as good as it need to be, but the guys are learning and they’re all in. We’re going to keep getting better.”
The Huskers will return to spring practice on Tuesday. Nebraska’s annual Red-White Spring Game presented by First National Bank is set for Saturday, April 21 at Memorial Stadium. Nebraska fans wishing to be a part of a public lottery for approximately 1,000 returned tickets for the Spring Game should visit Huskers.com between 10 AM on Monday and 5 PM on Tuesday.
