The Valley County Health Systems Child Development Committee sponsored another successful Valley County Kids Fair. Approximately 700 people attended this special family event held at the Trotter Event Center on Saturday, April 7.
There were various businesses and organizations adding up to 26 booths, making record numbers of booths to date.
Lora Burkholder, event co-coordinator, said, It is always such a great time at Kids Fair! We really enjoyed watching families having fun together.
Booths included hands-on activities for children and their families, ball toss, fingerprinting, ring toss, sensory activities, mini-golf, taekwondo, vertical and long jumps, playdough, a variety of crafts, hopping on balls, frog catapult, and many other things.
The Just for Kix Dance groups provided entertainment.
With approximately 175 children taking home a prize, many people, businesses and groups donated money and prizes to the fair.
We are so grateful for everyone who donates toward this positive community event. Its great to see the smiles on childrens faces, said Jeanette Koelling event co-coordinator.
