The 2nd phase of the North bridge on Hwy 70 crossing the North Loup river will begin on Tuesday, April 17.
The contractor will be setting girders.
In order to set the girders, the contractor will need to lift them off the trailers while the simis are in the open lane of the bridge.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers during this time and travelers should anticipate 15 minute delays during this operation.
Plans are projected to begin mid-morning, Tuesday, April 17.
The bridge is on way to going back to two way traffic by the end of May and finished in totality by July.
