Frankie Ballard has been announced as the new Friday night headliner for the Comstock Windmill Festival.
After the CMA Fan Fest performance Friday night, Luke Combs lost his voice and doctors have him on a plan of vocal rest and treatments for the next 10 days.
Comstock Windmill Festival and Event Promoter Henry Nuxoll announced on their facebook page:
We were notified just prior to this release. We have already been in contact with the agencies and are working to find a replacement. As it’s the weekend and also CMA Fan Fest, we appreciate your patience. Everyone here at the Comstock Windmill Festival is wishing Luke Combs a speedy recovery.
Luke Combs release to fans:
To all of my fans: Im devastated over this, but unfortunately, Im not going to be able to play for yall this weekend or next because Ive lost my voice. After I got off stage last night at CMA Fest, I had completely lost my voice. Ive powered through plenty of shows before, but with how my voice sounds and feels today, I couldnt possibly give yall the show you paid for and deserve. This morning, I saw my doctors and weve got a plan of vocal rest and treatments for the next 10 days so I can be back with yall as quickly as possible. It kills me to have to do this. Yall are the reason I get on stage every night. Hearing you sing my songs at the top of your lungs with me is unlike anything else. Thanks for being the best fans out there. I owe yall one.
Love you guys. – Luke
Nuxoll reminds everyone there are still camper spots available to hook up at or self powered spots.
