At approximately 5:50 p.m. Monday, July 9, an Antelope County Sheriffs Deputy and Nebraska State Patrol responded to the scene of a farm accident five miles northwest of Clearwater.
The Neligh News and Norfolk Daily News 52-year-old Robert Bob Pokorny was using a sweep auger in a grain bin located near the intersection of 514 Ave. and 857 Rd outside of Clearwater, Nebraska.
Pokorny suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported by Clearwater Fire and Rescue to Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh where he later died.
