After outgrowing the St. Francis convent center for 18 years, the Polish Heritage Center in Ashton, Nebraska will have a dedication for their new building at 120 Howells Ave, east of the St. Francis Hall.
An open house will be from 2-4pm on Sunday, August 5th with refreshments.
The new building is handicapped accessible with only one floor with a large display of Polsih and local history of the area along with articles from the Paplin Church, the Ashton High School and a library with newspaper articles and family history. The center also has a gift shop housing an assortment of Polish Pottery, T-shirts and other souvenirs.
