ORD, Neb. Hilary Miller, MD, has been named the Valley County Health System (VCHS) Chief of Staff.
In her one-year term as Chief of Staff, Miller acts as the liaison and adviser between VCHS administration and medical staff, as well as oversees physician credentialing, education and quality assurance. VCHS currently has a nine-person medical staff, with four MDs and five advanced practitioners. Greg McClanahan, MD, Jennifer Bengston, MD, and Daniel Schneider, MD, were voted Vice President, Secretary and Past-president, respectively, of medical staff for the upcoming year. Jeff Breitkreutz, PA-C, Bob Reilly, PA-C, Johanna Spencer, APRN-NP, FNP-BC, Hallie Yantzie, APRN-NP, and Jane Meyer, APRN-NP, are the five advanced practitioners on the VCHS medical staff.
Miller joined VCHS in 2015. She provides primary care services to patients primarily at the VCHS Medical Clinic Ord and Loup City locations, as well as to hospital inpatients and emergency room patients as needed. She earned her bachelors degree from the University of Kearney and her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Miller completed her family practice residency through the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
A native of Spalding, Neb., Miller and her husband, David Carraher, reside in Ord. Miller enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, fishing, cooking and traveling.
