The latest scam on the internet is now targeting children during their screen time.
Parents are warned to limit or supervise their children while watching YouTube or YouTube Kids videos. A character named “MoMo” is spliced into videos typically watched by children traumatizing thousands of children.
This scam is called the MoMo suicide challenge that shows up in the middle of a video with the scary distorted face telling the child to do certain things and even offering instructions of how to take their own lives.
