Two additional cases of COVID-19 were reported to Loup Basin Public Health Department (LBPHD) on Monday. The first case is a Valley County resident and the second case is a Howard County resident. Through the investigation conducted by LBPHD it was determined that both cases were exposed to individuals at their workplace who had tested positive. Contact tracing has been completed and all those who are a risk of exposure have been asked to quarantine. Patient information is considered protected health information under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and will not be provided to protect the patient’s privacy.
