ORD, Neb. – The Valley County Health System Child Development Committee made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Ord North Pole Express due to COVID-19. This event typically draws around 300 attendees, kids get to wear their pajamas, drink hot cocoa and take a ride to the north pole to meet Santa and his reindeer. Committee members handed out cocoa and candy canes to local school children and daycares with the message “We can’t wait to see you next year! –Santa & the Reindeer.”
We know kids are missing out on a lot this year so we wanted to let them know we are here, we still care and we can’t wait for next year!
