Atkinson – West Holt Medical Services Foundation is pleased to announce that Shaely
Thiele and Heather Bernt have been awarded scholarships for $500 for the upcoming
semesters.
Thiele is a 2013 graduate of West Holt High School in Atkinson currently pursuing her
Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Bernt is a 2011 graduate of West Boyd Public Schools in Spencer and is currently
pursuing her LPN and RN at Lake Area Technical College in Watertown, SD.
Since 1988, West Holt Medical Services Foundation has awarded more than $55,000 to
nearly 250 students, many of which have returned to the area for employment.
