A Ravenna man is in jail after two juveniles reported he filmed them in a bathroom of a Grand Island hardware store. Shane Starkey, 37, was arrested Thursday for child pornography, creating child pornography and unlawful intrusion. According to Grand Island Police, officers were called around 8:30 p.m. Thursday to Menard’s, 3620 W. State St., after a store employee reported a juvenile male was filmed while in the bathroom of the store. Capt. Jim Duering said it is unknown who reported the incident to the store employee. When GIPD arrived on scene, Duering said an officer observed Starkey recording another juvenile male over a stall wall as the juvenile used the restroom. The recorded juveniles were age 16 and 17, respectively. Duering said there may be more victims in this case, but GIPD will not know for sure until a search warrant is obtained. He added the search warrant will also determine whether Starkey has additional illegal content on his phone. Starkey is currently lodged in the Hall County Jail.
